Boeing 777 'Triple Seven'
The Boeing 777 'Triple Seven' is the biggest twin-engined aircraft in the world. The first flight was on 12 June 1994. In May 1995 United Airlines was the first airline to operate the type. The standard version is the 777-200, but Boeing also developed the stretched 777-300. Of both versions there are variants with (much more) extra range, the ER and LR. A freighter version is under development. So far more than 850 Boeing 777s have been ordered.
